Do you come out to Rockvale or Walterhill?

Yes, both are about 8 miles from our shop and inside our regular coverage area. Call and give us your address and we'll confirm a window the same day in most cases. Distance alone doesn't usually change the price, but it can affect how soon we can get there depending on the day's schedule.

How far will you travel for a repair?

Our farthest regular stops are Rural Hill and Woodbury, both around 19-20 miles out. Beyond that we're not the right call - not because we can't drive there, but because response time gets long enough that you're better served by someone closer. Ask when you call and we'll be honest about it.

My garage door opener works fine in summer but sticks in winter - is that normal?

It happens. Cold weather stiffens grease in the opener's gears and can shrink torsion spring tension slightly, so a door that swings free in July can drag or hesitate in January. It's usually a service adjustment, not a sign the opener is failing, but if it's gotten noticeably worse over a season, have it looked at.

Is it cheaper to repair my old door or replace it?

Depends on the door's age and what's wrong. If your house dates to the 1980s or 90s and the track and frame are still square, repair is often the better move. If the door is original to a house built in the 1960s, parts get scarce and replacement usually pencils out better. We'll give you both numbers before you decide.

Do you fix garage door openers or just the door itself?
